In general: they are amazing! Such friendly and helpful people – we all love them and we got surprised more than one time!
E.g. the Lady from the Linwater camping spot: she never had a problem with us needing a lot of space to repair the scooters or making a lot of noise – no, on the contrary, she always helped us by telling where we could get everything, how to get there and she made us award only the half, because we had problems and let us stay all day long. As I said: Amazing!
Day five has just begun
… a little review on the last time ;)
On Monday, we arrived at Edinburgh airport at 15:15. After we met with Arthur and the scoots on a sidewalk of the A8, we had to look for damages, happening to the scoots during the transport. The result was shocking. In the very beginning two of seven were starting, one sparkling plug was destroyed and Fabis fuel tank was broken. In the afternoon we reached a supermarket - Scotmid - in a village called Ratho, where the people let us stay on their parking, for repairing the two remaining scooters. As we were not able to finish the works on the first day, we looked for a place to sleep. The result was, that we arrived at Linwater Caravan Park at 11 p.m, a very nice camping area, with very helpful people. They told us, where to find the spare parts for the scoots. At least we always kept up the good mood – in spite of all the problems.
Hey there, sorry that we didn't write until now, but we had a little trouble the last few days.
On Monday morning we stood up very early (much too early -.-) and were driven to the airport Frankfurt Hahn by Daky - thanks a lot! In the afternoon we arrived at Edinburgh and only one hour later Arthur arrived with our scooters. Amazing until that point. (Except Arthur has his own odyssey to tell)
...well the bags are not really packed - by now. But I think we'll manage that in the next few hours ;)
The last work on the scooters was done last night, and all seven were loaded on the trailer. This morning they started towards Calais and they hopefully reach Edinburgh by tomorrow :)

Now it's done. We know where to go :) - sure, it's not that we really believe that this is really a FINAL route, but at least we've got kind of an idea what places we will visit :)
