I need a hero
After a very long first day at the scouts camp exploring every village around, we had a wonderful evening under the stars. Cooking, drinking, listening to music. The air tasted a little salty and when it got cold, we chilled ourselves into our tent between the olive trees, drank a little wine and enjoyed watching the stars.
Besides many other things, there is one attitude I really love about Mart: he never kills for no reason. Meaning if somewhere is a spider sitting in a corner, he leaves it, because there's no reason for him to disturb it or even do it some harm. If there's a worm or a frog on the street, he takes it and drops it on the side, where it's save. And if there's a fly - as long as it does not disturb, why would he kill it?
But not that evening!
We had switched off the light and let the door open, as usually that's enough to keep insects away. But we had forgotten about the Mediterranean climatic and that when it cools down, everything gets wet. So when we switched on the light to tidy up our stuff, there were hundreds and hundreds of gnats INSIDE the tent!
And then my boyfriend suddenly became a tiger which someone had locked up with a bunch of rabbits in one room. - a very effective weapon or as he laughed and said: gnat-genocide!
