We made a trip to Gozo, the northern island (which is still visible on my card of Europe =) ). Very beautiful island and definitely less garbage - on Malta it is disgusting how much garbage and human waste is lying around everywhere.

We were shooed onto the ferry, which you only pay at your travel back - because there's no other way back from Gozo ^^ We went to Victoria and spent a little time there and then we headed north to Zebbug.

The coast there is amazing. They have so-called salt-pans there over about one kilometer.

During spring they get filled with sea-water and after the summer the salt remains and is collected.
